Test Methods
UV Exposure
The QUV Test Method examines the resistance of coatings to the effect of UV radiation and humidity.
The apparatus creates cycles of light (different light sources are used to examine resistance to different wave lengths) and humidity over an extended period. This test has become a widely used standard for external maintenance coatings and has been shown to correlate well within service performance of maintenance coatings.
